From DEED:  Starting a business in Minnesota is not a single decision but a series of them, each one an important step on the road to a successful launch.

Our statewide network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) provide the professional expertise and guidance that every small business owner needs to flourish in today’s competitive and ever-changing business world.

The Commission’s mission is to provide leadership and direction through creative problem solving. They initiate projects and programs that lead to creative solutions to regional problems, by providing technical assistance and by identifying and developing available resources.

CareerForce provide the tools, resources and services needed for job search, career planning and training needs.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) is the state's principal economic development agency. DEED programs promote business recruitment, expansion, and retention; international trade; workforce development; and community development.

 

The North 65 Chamber of Commerce works to promote business growth by participating in local, regional and state economic development efforts including the Grow Minnesota Partnership and GPS 45:93.

GPS 45:93 is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing and attracting businesses with high-paying jobs to East Central Minnesota. It takes its name from the point of latitude and longitude at which the four original counties in the partnership meet.
